Washington, DC$945

Overview:
The power of a Geographic Information System (GIS) lies in its utility for analyzing spatial data. Such analysis can significantly enlighten the decision-making process. You learn about the most prominent forms of spatial analysis in both the vector and raster data models and participate in extensive computer exercises to explore tools and techniques for analyzing spatial data. You also learn about the appropriate use of different analytical techniques, data quality and error considerations when performing analysis in a GIS.

This course is part of the GIS Professional Certificate and the GIS Technical Certificate.
