Course overview

Study the science of plants, which provide the oxygen that supports life as we know it on earth. Learn about the internal workings of vascular and avascular plants, their life histories, special adaptations for growth and reproduction and their place in ecological cycles. Two field trips are planned: one to a local site of great plant diversity and one to a herbarium. If minimum student enrollment is notreached by one week before the scheduled startdate, the course may be canceled. Field Trip Dates:April 22 and May 6, 2017.
