Graduate School USA’s International Institute Welcomes 8 Saudi Arabian Judges on “Rule of Law and Judicial Reform” Project
From February 9th through the 17th, Graduate School USA will host a project titled “Rule of Law and Judicial Reform” as part of the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
The group includes 8 high level judges from Saudi Arabia on a project that focuses on building on the discussions between President Obama and King Salman in April 2016. The central goal will be encouraging voices of moderation among the next generation of Saudis and enhancing good governance and respect for human rights.
While in Washington, DC, the group will have many high level appointments with the Department of Justice, Supreme Court and Department of State. They will then travel to Philadelphia, PA, Cincinnati, OH and Reno NV. While in these cities, they will have various seminars focused on judicial training and reform.
