Posted on Mar 13, 2017
Between March 11th and March 19th, Graduate School USA’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) team will administer a project titled “TESOL Education.”
The 17 participants from Bolivia and Egypt include English language teachers with Binational Centers, universities, and the English Access Micro scholarship Program. The project begins in Washington, DC where visitors will be introduced to U.S. education policy and exchange views with teachers on pedagogical methodology.
The project continues for two weeks, during which time the group will also visit Albuquerque, Kansas City, and Seattle to attend the TESOL Convention. On the project’s opening day, the visitors will share a meal at the National Museum of the American Indian’s Mitsitam Native Foods Café with members of the multi-regional “American Language: English Teachers” project, also being administered by the Graduate School USA IVLP team.
This opportunity will allow participants to expand their professional networks and to learn the future of English language teaching worldwide.
