## Overview

The security control assessor makes the independent judgment that an authorization decision rests on. This program grounds the assessor in the RMF, deepens 800-53A assessment technique, and builds the end-to-end craft of planning, executing, and documenting a rigorous control assessment. It aligns to NIST SP 800-53A and the NICE Security Control Assessor work role.

Prepares you for: the Security Control Assessor and 3PAO assessor roles, and preparation toward the ISC2 CGRC.
