## Overview

In this self-paced certification program, you’ll learn to write SQL queries, extract and analyze data, and generate insights from relational databases. Using PostgreSQL and the DBeaver app for hands-on practice, you’ll gain skills that apply to other platforms such as SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle SQL, setting a strong foundation for a career in data analysis.

The program includes 18 hours of SQL Bootcamp, six hours of private tutoring (two 3-hour sessions), and access to the Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate exam with one free retake. You’ll also receive study resources and the option to replace the exam with an additional hour of private tutoring. Differences between PostgreSQL and Oracle SQL will be addressed during your private tutoring sessions to ensure you're fully prepared for the certification exam.

## What you'll learn

- Explore database information (tables, columns, rows, etc.) using DBeaver’s graphical interface, a popular free database tool
- Write SQL queries to retrieve data from database tables
- Use JOIN statements to combine information from multiple tables
- Filter, group, and sort data to extract specific insights
- Apply advanced techniques like subqueries, string functions, and IF-ELSE logic with CASE
- Utilize views and functions with parameters instead of querying tables directly
