# Introduction to AutoCAD Course

## Overview

In this beginner course, you’ll discover how AutoCAD can be used to create drawings that accurately represent real-world objects. You’ll learn fundamental drawing and modification techniques to produce quality drafts suitable for constructing actual mechanical and architectural designs.

 

This session is the first day of our 3-day AutoCAD Level I class. For additional topics such as layers, plotting (printing), properties, measurements, text, and more, you can continue with days two and three of the Beginner AutoCAD course.

 

**Note** : This course is intended for PC users, and our in-person sessions are PC-only. Mac users may join online but should be aware that the Mac AutoCAD interface differs from the PC version, which the instructor uses and which the course is based on.
