## Overview

This self-paced course covers the objectives of the CompTIA Cloud+ (CV0-004) exam across all six domains. It is written for systems administrators and cloud engineers who want vendor-neutral knowledge that applies across providers.

Learners study cloud architecture, deployment and migration, operations, security, and DevOps fundamentals. The course closes with a troubleshooting approach to common deployment, network, and security issues.

- Apply the vulnerability management life cycle and identify the compliance standard that governs a described data type.
- Select the appropriate authentication and authorization model for a described access scenario.
- Apply cloud security best practices and controls, and recognize common cloud attack types from suspicious activity.
- Identify core DevOps concepts, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, and common automation tools.
- Apply a troubleshooting approach to common cloud deployment, network, and security issues.

## Prerequisites

CompTIA recommends 2 to 3 years as a systems administrator or cloud engineer, plus [Network+](/courses/network-plus-exam-prep-course-self-paced) and Server+ level knowledge.

#### Module 1: Cloud Service Models and the Shared Responsibility Model

- Applied activity: Learners review a short scenario describing an organization's recovery time and budget requirements and select an appropriate DR site strategy, then justify it using RTO and RPO.

#### Module 3: Cloud Networking Concepts
