## Overview

In this beginner-friendly Excel workshop, you’ll cover the essentials of Microsoft Excel, including calculations, basic functions, charts, formatting, and printing. This introductory Excel class is ideal for those with limited experience who want to build their skills. Our Excel course features practical exercises that guide you through the basics. Learn a concept, watch a demonstration, and then apply it yourself in an activity. At the end of the class, you’ll keep your training guide for future reference whenever you use Excel.

Upon completing the Excel Level I course, you’ll gain access to our companion video suite, which includes beginner-level lessons available on desktop, mobile, and tablet. These tutorials break down popular Excel topics into easy-to-follow steps.

#### Autofill

- Explores Excel's amazing ability to predict and extrapolate patterns

#### Calculations

- Perform mathematical expressions and review the Order of Operations rule

#### AutoSum Functions

- Review the five key functions: Sum, Average, Max, Min, and Count Numbers

#### Absolute Reference

- Changing a cell reference into a constant, which is necessary for certain calculations

#### True or False

- Tests to see whether criteria is true/false

#### Text Functions

- Introduces functions used to modify text in Excel

#### Multi-Input Functions

- More advanced functions that require more than one input
