## Overview

Executive Leadership Excellence is designed for federal employees who want to elevate their leadership impact beyond positional authority or technical expertise. The course focuses on what distinguishes executive leadership excellence—building credibility and trust, applying sound judgment, and using consistent, observable behaviors that help people and organizations perform at their best, especially in high-pressure, high-scrutiny environments.

You will strengthen leadership foundations through trust and integrity, apply core leadership principles (such as consistency, accountability, transparency, and respect), and avoid common pitfalls that undermine credibility and performance. The course also develops practical behaviors for setting expectations and accountability without micromanagement, using coaching to build future leaders and succession readiness, leading through change and uncertainty with clarity and composure, and creating conditions for high-performing teams through collaboration, trust, and shared accountability.
