Canonical URL: <https://www.graduateschool.edu/courses/executive-resources-administration-ses-sl-st-self-paced>

## Overview

Every agency with Senior Executive Service billets has to run an executive resources function, yet training rarely addresses its HR technical side. This self-paced course is built for the HR specialists who administer executive resources, not for candidates drafting their own ECQs.

It walks through the Qualifications Review Board certification process, the SES performance appraisal system and how it gets certified, executive pay administration, Senior Level and Scientific or Professional positions, and how to run an SES Candidate Development Program. It works well alongside the candidate facing Writing ECQ Statements course and the Executive Potential Program.

## What you'll learn

- Run a career SES fill and put together a Qualifications Review Board submission.
- Assess an SES performance appraisal system and explain what certification unlocks for pay.
- Set SES, SL, and ST pay within the ranges and test a package against the aggregate limit.
- Tell SES positions apart from SL and ST positions and place a role correctly.
