# Figma Advanced (Self-Paced)

Canonical URL: <https://www.graduateschool.edu/courses/figma-advanced-online>

## Overview

Take your Figma skills further in this advanced class designed for users who already understand the basics and want to create more dynamic, realistic prototypes. You’ll focus on the tools and workflows that support more interactive and flexible design work.

Throughout the course, you’ll use sections, variables, variable modes, and conditionals to enhance prototypes and build stronger design systems. You’ll also learn how to organize variable collections for light and dark modes and create primitive and semantic layers that are easier to manage and update.

## What you'll learn

- Work with Figma’s advanced prototyping tools to create more realistic user experiences.
- Learn how to use variables and variable modes to build more flexible designs.
- Apply conditionals to add deeper interactivity to prototypes.
- Create light and dark modes using organized variable collections.
- Use primitive and semantic layers to build clearer, more scalable design systems.

## Prerequisites

Students should have Figma knowledge equivalent to our [Figma Bootcamp](https://www.nobledesktop.com/classes/figma-bootcamp).
