Canonical URL: <https://www.graduateschool.edu/courses/figma-advanced>

## Overview

This advanced Figma class is built for users who are comfortable with the fundamentals and ready to expand their prototyping and design system skills. It offers hands-on practice with the features that make interfaces more interactive, consistent, and scalable.

You’ll learn how to work with sections, variables, variable modes, and conditionals to add deeper functionality to your prototypes. The course also covers building design systems with variable collections, including light and dark modes, plus primitive and semantic layers for more efficient design management.

## What you'll learn

- Explore Figma’s advanced prototyping features
- Learn how to use variables and variable modes
- Use conditionals to add advanced interactivity to prototypes
- Create light and dark modes using variable collections
- Use primitive and semantic layers when building a design system

## Prerequisites

Students should have Figma knowledge equivalent to our [Figma Bootcamp](https://www.nobledesktop.com/classes/figma-bootcamp).
