# Government AI Foundations Bootcamp Canonical URL: ## Overview The Government AI Foundations Bootcamp gives government professionals a practical, job-focused introduction to artificial intelligence and its role in public service. You’ll learn what AI is, how it works, and how it’s already being used across government, including key topics like machine learning, language models, and ethical and legal considerations. The bootcamp also strengthens data literacy through hands-on exercises that help you use data with confidence, and builds prompt engineering skills so you can communicate with AI tools and apply them to real government tasks. As part of the program, you can also choose one of two additional courses at no cost to expand your learning. AI Ethics for Federal Employees focuses on responsible AI use, covering ethics, risk management, and policy frameworks with practical examples for government work. He is the founder and president of SoftLake Solutions, a company that specializes in providing data and AI applications to identify fraud for Internal Audit, Criminal Investigations, Forensic Accounting, Privacy, and Compliance. Steve brings a large amount of experience across multiple industries and government agencies.
