## Overview

From logos and patterns to tracing images and working with type, you will explore a wide range of what Illustrator can do. Throughout the course, you will create many graphics while using standard drawing tools, the Pen tool, type, compound paths, effects, layers, masks, patterns, blends, colors, and more.

Learning the Pen tool can feel challenging at first, but our drawing templates help make the process easier to understand and practice. You will also discover simple ways to build complex shapes by starting with basic ones, techniques you can apply to many types of graphics for both print and web.
