# BIM Detailing Course (Self-Paced)

## Overview

This self-paced course centers on helping you build clear, buildable construction details in Revit. You'll work with both traditional 2D drafted details and a hybrid method that pairs live model views with 2D notes and graphics to communicate design intent more effectively. The course leans heavily into that hybrid workflow and takes you through practical tools such as detail callouts, keynotes, importing vector files, assembling a reusable detail library, and working with 3D detail views. Every topic is taught through hands-on exercises, so you're putting each concept to use as you move along.

By the time you finish, you'll feel at home creating detail drawings that clearly show how building systems fit together and how they should be constructed safely and correctly. You'll also gain the ability to document materials, products, and finishes in a clean, organized way while keeping your details consistent with project lineweight standards and National CAD and BIM guidelines. The aim isn't simply to make details that look polished, but to produce drawings that truly hold up on real projects.
