Unit 2 13 Days

Master Certificate in Federal Financial Management - Level II

This Level II certificate program helps federal financial professionals expand their knowledge of budget formulation, execution, and decision support. Through focused coursework, participants gain the tools to interpret financial data, navigate congressional budget processes, and contribute to resource planning and performance evaluation.

Learn how to formulate, justify, and defend federal budgets,
Understand budget execution and compliance with federal regulations.
Analyze the federal appropriations and congressional budget process.
Apply decision support techniques to improve financial planning.
Explore strategies for aligning budgets with agency goals and performance outcomes.

Unit 3 15 Days

Master Certificate in Federal Financial Management - Level III

Designed for professionals with approximately seven or more years of federal financial experience, this Level III certificate program sharpens skills in budget justification, financial analytics, and audit collaboration. Core training includes Budget Justification and Presentation as well as Intermediate Decision Support Analytics, along with advanced coursework in accounting, Excel-based budget analysis, and financial law.

Complete required training in justification and analytics, including budget presentation and decision support.
Choose electives covering advanced accounting, Excel budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, appropriations or audit topics.
Earn continuing professional education credits aligned with federal standards in resource stewardship.

Unit 4 13 Days

Master Certificate in Federal Financial Management - Level IV

Level IV of the Master Certificate in Federal Financial Management builds leadership, communication, and strategic oversight capabilities for professionals with 10+ years of federal financial management experience.
