Professional Development Units (PDUs)

Professional Development Units (PDUs) help individuals earn or maintain industry-recognized certifications by documenting continued learning and skill development. PDUs are awarded through approved training and practical experience and are recognized by credentialing organizations such as the Project Management Institute (PMIâ„¢).

Graduate School USA offers a variety of instructor-led courses that provide Professional Development Units (PDUs), supporting both the attainment and renewal of key industry certifications. Many certification bodies, including the Project Management Institute (PMI™), require professionals to complete a set number of PDUs through formal training or hands-on experience to demonstrate continued proficiency in project management and related fields. Many focused Graduate School USA courses qualify for PDUs, typically awarded at a rate of one PDU per hour of classroom instruction. Because PDU requirements vary by certification, students should verify which courses align with the standards of their specific credentialing organization. Graduate School USA’s programs deliver structured, high-quality learning experiences that help professionals stay current and maintain the credentials essential to their career advancement.
