IT Training for Veterans (VA-Approved/GI Bill®)

The certificate programs below are approved for veterans and other eligible persons using the Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33), Veteran Readiness and Employment (Chapter 31), and Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (Chapter 35). They are offered through Graduate School USA's partner schools.

When using the Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33), the Noble Desktop programs are held in person at our affiliate, Noble Desktop, in New York City. You may be eligible for housing benefits; reach out to the VA to confirm your eligibility or for any questions about the status of your benefits.

In-Person VA Approved Programs at Noble Desktop

The programs below are run by our affiliate school, Noble Desktop, and are held in person at its New York City campus. Registration and VA certification for these programs go through Noble Desktop.

Online VA Approved Programs at VDCI

The programs below are fully online and run by our affiliate school, Virtual Design & Construction Institute (VDCI). Enrollment, GI Bill certification, and student support for these programs are handled by VDCI. Contact admissions@vdci.edu with questions about these programs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which of these programs are in person and which are online?

The Noble Desktop programs are held in person in New York City. To use the Post-9/11 GI Bill® for them, you must attend training in person, so you will need to be in the greater New York City area.

The VDCI programs are fully online and have no in-person requirement. Enrollment and VA certification for those programs are handled by VDCI through vdci.edu/veterans.

How do I register for a course using the GI Bill?

You can enroll in one of our eligible programs by completing the below steps:

  1. Select the program from our list of VA Eligible Certificate Programs.
  2. Click “Enroll” next to your preferred schedule.
  3. Click “Proceed to Checkout” and select the “Veterans Affairs” option. Enter your own first name, last name, email, and phone number. Make sure the listed student information is correct.
  4. Click “Place Order” to complete your registration.

Prior to the start of the class, you will need to provide us with a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) in order for us to certify your enrollment with Veterans Affairs. This can be sent to hello@nobledesktop.com. We will be in touch shortly after your registration to confirm additional information related to your registration.

For the online VDCI programs, register through vdci.edu/veterans and send your COE to admissions@vdci.edu.

I want to make sure my schedule will qualify me for full-time benefits. Can I check in advance?

Yes. Please email hello@nobledesktop.com to have our School Certifying Official review your schedule and confirm whether you will be considered a full-time student. For the online VDCI programs, email admissions@vdci.edu.

Can I attend multiple VA Eligible Certificate Programs at Noble Desktop?

Yes! As long as your benefits cover it and you finish one program before starting the next, you are welcome to come back for more of our courses.

May I use the GI Bill to enroll in two VA Eligible Certificate Programs at once?

No. You can attend two programs sequentially, but you cannot have two overlapping enrollments.

Can I attend Noble Desktop's self-paced courses using VA benefits?

No. Noble Desktop's VA-approved programs are approved for in-person attendance in New York City. Self-paced online programs approved by the VA are available through our affiliate school, VDCI; see the online programs listed above and vdci.edu/veterans.

How do I register for a course using Chapter 31?

Please have your counselor submit a training authorization for one of our eligible programs through Tungsten. If they need assistance, they can email hello@nobledesktop.com to connect about registration.

Once the authorization has been submitted, you can then enroll in one of our eligible programs by completing the below steps:

  1. Select the program from our list of VA Eligible Certificate Programs.
  2. Click “Enroll” next to your preferred schedule.
  3. Click “Proceed to Checkout” and select the “Veterans Affairs” option. Enter your own first name, last name, email, and phone number. Make sure the listed student information is correct.
  4. Click “Place Order” to complete your registration.

We will be in touch shortly after your registration to confirm additional information related to your registration.

For the online VDCI programs, your counselor should send the training authorization to admissions@vdci.edu, and you then register through vdci.edu/veterans.

Does Noble Desktop accept Chapter 35?

Yes, all our VA Eligible Certificate Programs are eligible for Chapter 35. 

Please note that Chapter 35 payments will not necessarily cover the full cost of your program on their own, and most students need a separate source of funding to pay for their program. Learn more about Chapter 35 rates.

How do I register for a course using Chapter 35?

You can register for one of our VA Eligible Certificate Programs using our standard student registration process. After you enter your payment details and check out, please email a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to hello@nobledesktop.com. We will then certify your registration with the VA.

For the online VDCI programs, register through vdci.edu/veterans and send your COE to admissions@vdci.edu.

I have partial GI Bill benefits (90% or less). Can I still take classes at Noble?

Yes. Please email hello@nobledesktop.com when you register and let us know what percentage of benefits you have. We can either share a payment link where you can pay the balance on your tuition, or set up a payment plan if needed. For the online VDCI programs, email admissions@vdci.edu.

Does Noble Desktop accept VET TEC?

No, we are not eligible for VET TEC.

I am eligible to have hardware and/or software funded by the VA through my Chapter 31 benefits. How do I find out what I'll need for my program at Noble Desktop?

All of our VA Approved courses require access to a PC or Mac (laptop or desktop). Required software is listed on the course pages. For more specific technical specifications and recommendations, please email hello@nobledesktop.com. Please note that while we can provide general tech requirements, we cannot provide information on pricing, purchasing options, or options and/or recommendations for equipment not included in our general tech requirements.
