Great experience to explore other elements of a finding and hear from others on their different audit experiences pertaining to their audit areas of work. There is never enough to learn about audit, for processes and policies are ever-changing. When it comes to auditing on any level, you will always have to remain consistent to get to the real root cause of any condition, identify the impact, and offer an effective resolution. Right then, forward as always!

Overall, great experience with the class. Bob laid out the material in a very logical and understandable presentation. He then discussed numerous case examples to foster group discussion and build upon the instructional material.

I took on this program after losing HR Specialist during the Workforce Reshaping initiative. I had little to no knowledge of the program. Anna was able to teach me the FMLA programs and no I feel confident in my new assignments

I am completing the course with a better understanding of being an auditor and conducting auditing operations. I would recommend this course to others who are new to auditing, especially those coming from peripheral groups like inspectors general.

The instructor was great. He presented the information in a way that all students could understand. During the course, there were a few questions asked for clarification. He provided real-life examples that students could relate to. He also adjusted terminology so students could understand the information (ie, Charge Paragraph to Finding Paragraph). I would like to commend our instructor on his teaching method and would encourage others to take this course.

This course was very instructive for all phases of the audit process and gave me the tools I needed to further develop in all areas of a performance audit. The class content was very thorough regarding objectives, establishing causes, and the overall development of the audit plan. The instructor was very informative and respectful in answering student questions. He additionally shared how his relevant experience applied to the lessons taught in the class.

This class was probably one of the single most helpful classes I've taken for travel that I feel is going to help me to assist my travelers better in the future. The Instructor (Bob Simon) was very well-versed in all aspects of Travel and had a wealth of personal experiences and knowledge that supplemented my understanding of some of the more complex issues. I would recommend this class and, especially this instructor, to anyone needing a refresher or for those who are just now starting to learn about Government Travel.
