I am very thankful for this opportunity. The class was conducted one-on-one, and I truly appreciate both my instructor and the Graduate School for making this possible. The most valuable aspect of the training was its personalized focus—it was tailored specifically to my current situation, which made it highly relevant and immediately applicable. In the past, I’ve taken training from the Graduate School and other providers, but the material often catered to large agencies like the Department of Defense. This time, however, the instruction was centered on my needs, which made a significant difference.

My experience in the Introduction to Supervision course was exceptional! The small class size provided the opportunity for detailed discussions, personalized guidance, and ample chances to ask questions. The interactive activities, particularly the role plays, were invaluable in helping me practice the concepts and build confidence in my leadership abilities. I am especially grateful to Mrs. Collins for her dedication throughout the week, ensuring every participant fully understood all the concepts.

I loved Beth's approach on classification and enjoyed her expansion of its topic each day. It has helped me to feel more stronger in my role, and my thought process in classification. It can be tiring, with the information overload, but Beth made it refreshing and fun. Overall, it was a good foundation to jumpstart for when I do classify positions.

Great instruction with lots of real-world experience. In-person instruction is a lost art. Sets a good foundation of which to build on for future career success. Very happy this instruction is in-person for shared experiences and good dialogue. Very fortunate to be a part of this experience.

This course delivered valuable information and strengthened my understanding of performance-based acquisitions and PWS development. The small class size allowed for individualized attention and practical discussion, which was appreciated. Her expertise in the subject matter was clear, and she demonstrated flexibility in adjusting the class content and pace to meet the needs of a very small group.

This class was a great introduction to labor relations. There is a lot of wonderful information here and while the topics might be a bit dry, Alan did a great job of engaging in conversation and role play to get the point across. I really appreciated the conversation and discussions.

GeriAnn was excellent! The class was very engaging and maintained my attention throughout. The content was also very good, and I learned techniques in my writing that will last a lifetime - including a refresher in grammar that was super helpful. Some of the biggest takeaways were "bottom line up front', 40% time invested in pre-writing, short and concise sentences, and other parts of the plain language act as well as the 7 essential editing traits. Overall, the class was such an amazing experience! Such a great way to spend two days in the middle of the week.

This has been a great course and program. This course completed by course study for Project Mangement. I plan to pursue my PMP in the near future.

Content was great and useful. I would like to incorporate this knowledge into my Agency resources and training material. The instructor was very thorough and knew the material. She was very responsive to questions and was supportive of our examples.

Trina Petty is a phenomenal instructor! I was a part of a small session, but Trina made sure that no one was left behind. Her goal was to ensure that everyone had a grasp of writing position descriptions and also utilizing the plethora of resources available to us.
