If you are an entry level Management or Program Analyst, this course will provide you the important fundamentals of Data Collection. I learned about primary & secondary data sources, the various methods to collect data; such as observation, surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc., the importance of a strong topic to seek optimal decision output, various rating methods, and the most important (for me) WORDS MATTER.
I learned a great deal that I can add to my professional toolbox.

This was one of the better classes that I have attended. I would actually take this one again.

The discussion on categorizing one's team was eye-opening and even made me pause for some introspective assessment. I've always operated with a "recognize who you are dealing with" approach, but the explanation of the variety of categories for my team and me (Champions, Supporters, Watchers (Fence Sitters), Skeptics, Resisters) has given me a new perspective, as well as related tools on how to better lead my team and foster greater critical thinking.

Additionally, she shared examples from her past audits, which helped our group better understand the material. This approach made her class both interesting and easier to follow.
