  • Lynn Hamberger Sep 11, 2025

I am self-taught in Figma, and Dan's classes filled in all of the questions I've had, and taught me the correct workflow to use and when. I loved learning all about the relational and hierarchical elements and how they interact with each other. This class surpassed my expectations! I learned so much!

  • Angela R. Aug 29, 2025

Christophe was a good instructor. He was always willing to help and listened attentively whenever we had doubts.

  • Anna Z. Aug 18, 2025

Very knowledgeable instructor! I only had him for this course, but he was clearly knowledgeable, patient, and accessible as an instructor.

  • Carol Henning Aug 7, 2025

Exactly what I needed! I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out my new site's control panel and WordPress coding. The instructor covered everything from registering domains, navigating the control panel, and, of course, building with WordPress. The final day was extremely helpful as well, as he walked us through the source code for all of the site's components.

  • Alan Sanchez Aug 5, 2025

I really appreciate that this program offers both in-person and online instruction. What stood out to me and ultimately sealed the deal was the commitment to keeping in-person learning alive. So many bootcamps have moved everything online, and while flexibility is great, nothing beats hands-on, face-to-face interaction when it comes to learning. I genuinely hope the school continues to grow without losing that in-person experience that sets it apart.

  • Tyler G. Jul 31, 2025

Eugenio was amazing! Steady pace instructor, he answered any and all questions. I would recommend anyone of any skill level who wants to know more about WordPress to go through him.

  • Neil F. Jul 16, 2025

Great content, structure, and course materials with knowledgeable instructors.

  • Bernice W. Jul 11, 2025

The class content was well-written, practical, clear, and easy to follow. I appreciate all of the useful tips as well, and seeing key points and summaries in the "pull quotes" is especially helpful. Overall, it was one of the best "technical" trainings I've ever taken, and I will highly recommend it to colleagues.

  • Daniel O. Jul 11, 2025

Noble Desktop has proven to be one of the best out there!

  • Valerie N. Jul 10, 2025

Great instructor! He paced the class well and was very responsive to questions. His years of experience showed clearly.

  • Michelle Buizon Jun 30, 2025

I've been to other bootcamps in NYC on UX design, and guaranteed, this place is where you would want to be. There are a lot of options for classes and certifications that you can choose from that provide both day and evening schedules. The staff is welcoming and always helpful. It was overall a great experience and I was able to take with me the skills I need to improve on my design space.

  • Fleur Groot Jun 17, 2025

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and was excited to put what I had learned into practice. I like the step-by-step structure of each activity; it makes it easy to understand if you want to look back at certain things in the future.

  • Holly B. Jun 2, 2025

Dan is an excellent and knowledgeable instructor, and fun to learn with.

  • Julia R. May 6, 2025

I found the course super helpful, and believe the structure is valuable

  • Paola Morrongiello May 1, 2025

I learned a lot from Christophe, especially because he explained the lessons in a real-world context with many examples. He went beyond just teaching the tool and its functions.

  • Jeff K. Apr 16, 2025

    The instructor had great enthusiasm.

  • Michelle C. Apr 16, 2025

Very clear and upbeat teacher. He shared all the quick techniques that save time in coding, even those that were not part of the course. His own personal style. He also shared a lot of his takes on universal standards and how to be mindful of them.

  • Marsha B. Apr 16, 2025

Dan really broke it down and made coding easy to understand for someone who has no experience. Looking forward to more Noble classes.

  • Michelle C. Apr 10, 2025

He explains everything so clearly, and covers everything we need to know, answering all questions before I even get to ask. Professor Rodney is excellent, very informative, and thorough.

  • Nicholas D. Apr 10, 2025

It was a very great experience to learn HTML and some styling. I really liked the shortcuts I learned.

  • Jason Weekes Apr 6, 2025

My experience was great, I learned a lot, and it provided information on how I should look at certain things in order to be productive and enhance the information learned. Thank you!

  • Julia R. Apr 5, 2025

Awesome class. The instructor was professional, well-articulated, calm, and personable.

  • Grace C. Mar 4, 2025

My overall experience was very positive. It felt intensive at times, but that’s the nature of two consecutive 6-hour sessions, and no time was wasted.

  • Cole M. Mar 4, 2025

Dan did such an amazing job of delivering the content in an engaging way. You could tell he didn't want to just get through the lessons; he really wanted us to understand the features and functions of Figma.

  • Robert C. Feb 26, 2025

Michael is great. I find that while the pace of the class is fast, Michael takes time to revisit steps or topics while also taking questions/making sure everyone understands the material. Outside of the class material, he offers insight into the world of UX/UI and is authentic in addressing our questions and expectations for finding jobs or entering the design world and starting from the bottom.

Web Design Classes, Bootcamps, & Certifications Near Me

Websites are an integral part of life for most people. According to DataReportal’s 2024 report, people worldwide spend an average of 400 minutes online per day. During those 400 minutes--which is close to 7 hours--they have millions of different websites to choose from, with thousands of new ones being added daily. These sites are designed by Web Designers. Web Designers create the layout and design of a website. They use a variety of different elements, such as graphics, colors, and different fonts, to achieve a specific look and feel.

Website design is critical to whether or not a site will be successful, making this an in-demand field that can lead to many different job opportunities. A 2024 Forbes article contains a variety of website statistics, which reveal that users will quickly move on if a site doesn’t hold their attention and meet their needs. For instance, Forbes reports that almost half of users will not wait more than two seconds for a website to load. In addition, it says that about 60 percent of users say that if it takes more than five seconds to find what they’re looking for, they will try another site instead.

Client dashboards need to be easy to use and clean to avoid any confusion. While dealing with finances, a straightforward experience is imperative to maintain client satisfaction. Practical Programming, an affiliate of Noble Desktop, offers training in web design concepts and skills, so you can start expanding your current professional toolkit or acquire new skills that would complement your web design training.

Web Design Classes Los Angeles

While web design isn't the first career that comes to mind when you think of working in Los Angeles, it's a path worth considering. Every business needs a strong website. Think of all the retail stores on Rodeo Drive, Melrose Avenue, and beyond -- they all need Web Designers to create e-commerce platforms that are easily accessible and navigable so consumers can purchase products. Likewise, the strong presence of the entertainment industry means there are tons of opportunities for Web Designers to find work in Los Angeles. In a place like L.A., good design isn't just appreciated: it's essential. The more you think about it, the more sense learning web design makes.

Web Design Classes Dallas

Dallas is quickly becoming a tech center in the Southwest, and that momentum is only drawing in more and more Web Designers. Some major companies are headquartered in Dallas or nearby suburbs, like Texas Instruments and Solera Holdings, and these companies and more need talented designers to craft websites that are appealing, convenient, and organized. Whether you're working for a startup or any of the major institutions in the region, Dallas is a great place for budding web design professionals.

Web Design Classes Boston

If you're thinking about getting into web design, Boston is another great place to start. With its strong presence in the Northeast and its growing tech, education, and healthcare industries, there's no shortage of options for web design professionals. Web Designers help build anything from accessible websites for tech companies aiming to reach a wider consumer base to dashboards for patients to easily access their medical data and appointment information. In both of these scenarios, having secure, easy-to-use webpages is of utmost importance. Whether you're more into the user experience or visual branding, web design is a talent that many companies search for in Boston.

Web Design Classes Miami

Miami has always been a city known for its positive energy and style, which is perfect for Web Designers. Industries like tourism, real estate, and finance all have websites to connect with clients and consumers, but without a clean, sleek look, these websites may get overlooked. Real Estate Agents, for instance, will work with Web Designers to create a website packed with helpful information about new listings, virtual tours, and various condos across the city.

Web Design Classes Philadelphia

If you're a Web Designer in Philadelphia, you're in a good spot. The city is full of industries that depend on websites that are well-crafted and with the user in mind. This is especially true for the many universities located in Philadelphia, like Temple University, Drexel University, and the University of Pennsylvania. These institutions offer online classes and degrees, manage the admissions process online, and have student portals for other campus resources. These websites are nice-looking, but beyond that, they help people get the information they need without the hassle. Philadelphia has a lot of promise for a web design expert, so it's worth considering as a skill to pick up.

Web Design Classes Phoenix

As Phoenix expands, so does its need for digital design experts, like Web Designers. From tech startups to educational institutions and financial firms, businesses across industries hire Web Designers to ensure their websites are visually appealing, engaging, and user-friendly. Design plays a huge role in whether a business is seen as legitimate or not, and Phoenix-based organizations take this seriously.

Benefits of Learning Web Design

Job Security and a Lucrative Salary

With so many competing sites, and users reporting limited patience and short attention spans, good Web Designers are highly sought after. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is a federal agency that gathers and analyzes labor market statistics. It predicts that between 2023 and 2033, web development and digital design jobs will grow by 8 percent, which is faster than the average U.S. job growth rate of 3 percent. It explains that this growth will be driven by the fact that retail firms continue to increase their online offerings, and also by the growing use of mobile devices, which necessitates the development of mobile-friendly sites. It reports that the median pay for this profession is almost $97,000 per year, which is substantially higher than the overall U.S. average, which is about $48,000.

Creatively Rewarding

Not only is web design a potentially lucrative career that is predicted to have strong job security, but many people find it to be a creative and rewarding profession. Every web design project is unique, and this means that designers constantly need to be creative and innovative. Many Web Designers say that they rarely get bored in this profession because they are constantly being challenged to solve problems and think creatively.

Job Flexibility

Web design can also be a good option if you’re looking for a career with flexibility and independence. According to BLS statistics, about 10 percent of Web Developers and Digital interface designers are self-employed. Self-employment allows designers to work from home or any other location of their choice, pick the projects that they work on, and set their own hours.

Web Design Careers

Web design skills can be used in a number of different careers. Web Designers are focused on the visual elements and overall aesthetic of a site. A related career is that of a Web Developer, which is more focused on the structure and behind-the-scenes functionality of a site. Web Development typically involves coding. There are a number of different types of web development. Front-End Developers specialize in the front-end of the website, which is the part that users see and interact with. Back-End Developers specialize in the back-end, which includes all of the elements that are essential to the site functioning, but that the user does not interact with. Full-Stack Developers are skilled in both front and back-end development. User experience (UX) design is another field related to web design. It involves working to make sure that users have the best website experience possible and that a site is easy to use and enjoyable. User interface (UI) design is also related to web design and involves improving the look and feel of a website.

Will I Need to Learn Coding?

Most Web Designers are focused on design rather than coding. However, since coding is a fundamental part of creating a website, it’s helpful to have at least some basic coding knowledge if you plan to work in web design. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are the basic building blocks of most websites, and when you take a web design class, you’re likely to gain at least a basic understanding of these languages.

What Else Will I Learn in a Web Design Class?

When you take a web design class, you’ll learn a lot about design. For instance, you’ll learn about fundamental design elements like color, repetition, and balance, and how you can manipulate them to influence users in specific ways. You’ll also learn how to use digital design tools. There are a variety of common design applications that Web Designers use to create content or even to build an entire site. For example, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are popular apps used for creating visual content. There are also apps like WordPress and Wix that can be used to create a complete website. Web design classes may also include a number of technical skills. For example, in addition to coding, you may learn about frameworks and libraries. These are prewritten collections of code that can be used to more quickly and efficiently create a website.

How to Choose the Best Web Design Class

There are a lot of different web design classes out there. You’ll find both short and long courses, in-person and virtual options, and full-time and part-time offerings. It can be overwhelming to sort through all of these. Here are a few considerations that can help you narrow down your options.

Think About Your Experience Level

One of the first things to consider when you’re choosing a class is how much experience you have with web design. By picking a class that matches your level of experience, you’ll be more likely to have a learning experience that is both successful and enjoyable. If you’re a beginner, you should look for a class that doesn’t have any prerequisites and is designed for people without any web design experience. Beginner classes start with fundamental concepts and build up from there. Alternatively, if you already have some experience, you probably know the fundamentals, and a beginner class may be too slow. In that case, you’ll need to look for a higher-level course.

Understand Your Learning Goals and Style

It’s also important to find a class that matches your learning goals and is compatible with your individual style of learning. Each web design class is unique. For instance, some focus on a relatively narrow set of skills, while others are more broadly focused. Most classes include at least some hands-on training, where you work on real web design projects; however, that can also vary. One good way to get a better understanding of a particular course is to read the curriculum. You can also request additional information from the school.

Know Your Budget

Cost is also an important consideration for most people who are choosing a web design class. The price of web design classes varies widely. You’ll also find different types of payment options. For instance, some schools require payment up front, while others offer a variety of payment plans. To understand your options, it's a good idea to shop around.

Look for Additional Benefits

Another thing to look for when you’re trying to choose a web design class is whether any of the classes come with additional benefits. Some schools do offer a number of unique benefits with their courses. For instance, there are schools that offer the option of a free course retake within a certain amount of time, which can be a great way to refresh your skills at a later date. Some schools provide career services like mentoring sessions or advice on building your resume or portfolio. There are even schools that provide access to internships or professional networks.

Read Reviews

Reviews can be a great way to gain additional insight into what a class might be like. You’ll frequently find course reviews posted online. While every student will have their own opinion, and you might not agree with every reviewer, it can be helpful to look for recurring themes. Reviews can also be a good place to discover considerations that hadn’t even occurred to you.
