Description:
Graduate School USA's Government Audit Training Institute (GATI) offers the Certified Government Audit Leader (CGAL) program to help you develop advanced leadership skills in government auditing. This program is designed for professionals who have already attained Level II certification or have extensive auditing experience.
Participants will complete 88 CPEs, including courses on audit resolution, emotional intelligence, enterprise risk management, audit planning for return on investment, audit supervision, leadership and motivation, ethical decision-making, managing audit engagements, leading audit projects, and reviewing report writing.
The program emphasizes strategic skills such as influencing and situational awareness, executive-level risk management, and high-performance audit organization management. Successful completion of this level will be based on passing a capping exam.

Progression through the program courses will map closely to the participant's Individual Development Plan (IDP) from foundation courses through intermediate, to management and leadership courses. Successful completion of this level will be based on passing a capping exam.
