Description:

Graduate School USA's (GSUSA) Government Audit Training Institute (GATI) offers a comprehensive examination covering expert knowledge of the Government Auditing Standards and the application of knowledge about the planning, fieldwork, reporting, resolution, follow-up and quality assurance process of a government audit. The exam is administered in two parts: Part 1 covers all aspects of the Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards. Part 2 covers application and implementation of the audit steps, process and quality assurance. Candidates must first qualify by completing a minimum of 160 qualified continuing professional education CPE) credits, verified by GSUSA’s Registrar or its designee. Candidates are allowed two attempts at passing both parts of the exam within one year. Candidates may reapply to take the exam after one year and attaining 20 additional qualified CPE credits.
