This program provides a comprehensive understanding of change dynamics and their impact on individuals and organizations. Participants will analyze reactions to change and tolerance for change, and develop the skills necessary to lead effective change management strategies. Additionally, the program emphasizes the importance of establishing and strengthening relationships with others to get work done effectively. Courses cover key topics such as understanding yourself and others, building teams, and appreciating diversity, equity, and inclusion. Participants will also gain an overview of essential leadership and management skills, including prioritizing, decision-making, goal setting, and implementation.

The program investigates the skills needed to manage finances, human resources, and technology within the federal workplace, providing a broad understanding of federal guidelines and real expectations for managers. Participants will explore how influence can be utilized by leaders to increase the likelihood of success, including building relationships, using persuasion and negotiation, and forming partnerships and coalitions.
