  • Lesson 1: Introduction to Statements of Work (SOW)
    Introduction to statements of work and roles and responsibilities of the contract team.
  • Lesson 2: Service Contracts
    History of the evolution of service contracts and PBSC. Vulnerabilities associated with personal services.
  • Lesson 3: Performance-Based Service Contracts
    How PBSC methodologies can be used to improve service contracting. Introduction to PBSC, what it is and its advantages.
  • Lesson 4: Requirements Analysis
    Receive background and instruction on each step of requirements analysis, the detailed analytical phase of developing a PBSOW. Practice each step in a practical exercise.

  • Continue with Lesson 4-Requirements Analysis

 

DAY THREE OF THREE

  • Lesson 5: Writing Performance-Based SOWs
    How to fold the outputs from all of the steps into a PBSOW.
  • Lesson 6: Quality Assurance
    Major contents of a surveillance plan, how to do surveillance once the plan is written and remedies for substandard performance.
