Buying digital services is different, and federal acquisition professionals are increasingly expected to lead procurements that support agile delivery, human-centered design (HCD), and faster modernization outcomes.
Join Bruce Gay, an analytics and communications instructor at Graduate School USA, for an informational webinar that provides a clear, practical overview of the Digital IT Acquisition Professional (DITAP) training program—an immersive, cohort-based development experience designed to help acquisition professionals strengthen digital acquisition capabilities and earn the FAC-C-DS (Digital Services) credential.
During the webinar, you will learn who DITAP is for, what the program experience looks like, the expected time commitment, and what you’ll be able to do differently after completion, especially when managing digital services contracting efforts that require deeper technical and vendor oversight skills.
Whether you’re exploring DITAP for the first time or preparing to manage higher-impact digital services contracts, this session will help you understand the pathway, the expectations, and the practical benefits.
Understand how to obligate and manage appropriated funds in compliance with FAR and the GAO’s “Red Book,” with a focus on acquisition contexts.
Learn how to execute streamlined procurement actions within federal simplified acquisition thresholds, including micro‑purchases and GSA schedules.
Traditional federal government training and procurement practices often inhibit agencies’ ability to effectively acquire and implement modern IT and digital services because they lag behind the rapidly changing technology and markets. Timely, relevant, and continuous training for acquisition professionals is the key to keeping pace. In recognition of this urgent need, the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) — in cooperation with US Digital Services (USDS) — established an immersive five-month training and development program called the Digital IT Acquisition Program (DITAP).
Get up to speed on federal contracting procedures, responsibilities, and supervisory roles as a COR or project official.
