This was hands-down one of the most engaging and valuable courses I have ever attended. My only regret is that the training was only three days because Larry is awesome. Larry is an exceptional, highly personable instructor who genuinely cares about aligning the curriculum with each student's specific organizational role which is so important to me when I am being taught new things. He excelled at breaking down complex topics using relatable, real-world examples, providing AI-generated reference guides tailors to my role, and conducting frequent module recaps to ensure complete comprehension. He even took the time to answer one of my critical operational question that my previous trainer had not answered for me before retiring even when I have asked her the question before. I have attended training courses throughout my career, but I have never left a class feeling so energized and excited to go back and learn more the next day. My enthusiasm was so high that during nearly every break and lunch hour, I found myself speaking with my coworkers to rave about the outstanding job he was doing when they asked me how my class was going. Beyond his technical expertise, Larry cultivated an outstanding classroom environment. We shared great laughs while absorbing information, and the one-on-one discussions were valuable for understanding concepts through diverse perspectives. The practical tips he shared are easily the best I have ever received. I have achieved an exceptional return on investment for this training, and I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to take future courses under Larry's instruction again. The contracting foundation skills class was a great beginner's crash course. It touched on many topics and areas. I left the class knowing much more about government contracting. I look forward to taking the 1200 course next.

With only the instructor and two students, including myself, the course felt very intimate. This smaller setting made it easy to ask questions and explore the material more deeply instead of moving quickly just to stay on schedule. Overall, this was an excellent course with a great instructor (Jeff Hysen) and a wonderful colleague. I would absolutely take this course again and encourage others to do the same. Lastly, I was able to connect with COR experts who have a wealth of knowledge, which was an added benefit.
This DITAP training has added to my IT acquisition toolbox. I now have a better understanding of the IT procurement process and how to develop the acquisition strategic plan.

They were attentive to our needs as students and were very understanding when I ran into situations where I needed a little grace with assignment submissions. Bruce Gay and Dr. Joseph Common were amazing! Their professionalism and expertise in digital information technology and the agile process helped the entire process become much less scary and manageable. The content did a very good job of taking the current procurement process and illustrating the crosswalk for performing these same tasks and advancements in an agile procurement.
This was an excellent course, and I feel much more prepared and comfortable with not only utilizing agile acquisition methods but also being the advocate for change at my agency. Participants clearly wanted to be part of the class and were engaged in discussions, and the instructors did more than just talk - they also engaged and provided insight into complex topics. DITAP Training is a must for every IT acquisition professional in the Federal Government! I enjoyed the stakeholder interviews and shadowing assignments. Mr. Bruce Gay is a knowledgeable and engaging instructor. Dr. Common is also knowledgeable and energetic, and I enjoyed listening to his lecture.
First time taking the full (40-hr) formal training course. The material was detailed, and the class had very experienced CORs who brought valuable insight and experience to the discussion. I enjoyed the course. It is a lot of information to cover, but the general review seemed to cover all the relevant information needed to be a successful COR.
