I am very thankful for this opportunity. The class was conducted one-on-one, and I truly appreciate both my instructor and the Graduate School for making this possible. The most valuable aspect of the training was its personalized focus—it was tailored specifically to my current situation, which made it highly relevant and immediately applicable. In the past, I’ve taken training from the Graduate School and other providers, but the material often catered to large agencies like the Department of Defense. This time, however, the instruction was centered on my needs, which made a significant difference.
My experience in the Introduction to Supervision course was exceptional! The small class size provided the opportunity for detailed discussions, personalized guidance, and ample chances to ask questions. The interactive activities, particularly the role plays, were invaluable in helping me practice the concepts and build confidence in my leadership abilities. I am especially grateful to Mrs. Collins for her dedication throughout the week, ensuring every participant fully understood all the concepts.
Instructor was clear and concise going over the content. The instructor was also very helpful when any questions came up. They were able to give examples from their own experience that applied to the content which made it easier to understand.
Instructor was personable and kept on task.
GeriAnn was excellent! The class was very engaging and maintained my attention throughout. The content was also very good, and I learned techniques in my writing that will last a lifetime - including a refresher in grammar that was super helpful. Some of the biggest takeaways were "bottom line up front', 40% time invested in pre-writing, short and concise sentences, and other parts of the plain language act as well as the 7 essential editing traits. Overall, the class was such an amazing experience! Such a great way to spend two days in the middle of the week.
I enjoyed this writing class, and I left with a lot more knowledge than I had going into it. Geri Ann was very enjoyable as an instructor. She knew her information very well and helped me understand things better.
It was a good class. I learned a lot from this class and cannot wait to take it back into the workplace.
It was nice since our class was small and it felt each student could more comfortably address and ask their question.
Trina Petty is a phenomenal instructor! I was a part of a small session, but Trina made sure that no one was left behind. Her goal was to ensure that everyone had a grasp of writing position descriptions and also utilizing the plethora of resources available to us. This course was fun and interactive and I would love to be a part of any other course where Trina is the instructor. Thank you for everything!
Great class! All lessons are applicable to work but also applicable in our personal lives.
All-in-all, A++! I hope to take another course with Ms. Debbie again in the future! Very digestible. The topic is vast, but she made it fun, interesting, and manageable. I liked the small class approach. I like that we have a few different options for frameworks. I would easily be able to implement the material and share what I've learned.
A good place to start if you need more information on Position Management. I now understand why there are Master degrees in Organizational Theory.
I have had this instructor before and have always enjoyed any class he teaches. This one was no exception and was an excellent course.

This is the 2nd course I've taken with Mr. Criscuolo, and I really enjoyed the overall experience. He creates a collaborative and welcoming virtual classroom environment and ensures that everyone participates equitably.
I feel as though I picked up a year's worth of management experience over these 5 days. It gave me a lot of confidence to get some of the answers right without any management experience. Bob is great. Very engaging. Very respectful of our time and our work/personal needs. The scenario-based format is excellent. As a new manager, it was great to think through the many scenarios.
Great subject matter. I am passionate about the topic of HR. Bob showed deep knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern the topics of this course.
It has been years since I have had any English courses, and I forgot a lot about grammar. Frank made it easy to learn. This course was exactly what I needed!

Course was a great starter to writing PDs, I am interested to see what other courses are offered. Paul was very knowledgeable and friendly, made course lively and not boring and was able to answer questions completely and explain things in an easily understandable way.

Great instructor, Marshal kept us on task and was great to work with.
I didn't realize there was so much that goes into managing my time. I took so much from the class and I have something to look back on when I put into practice on improving my current habits. Marshall was very interactive, gave us plenty of breaks to give me time to refresh, he was very professional and respectful of everyone in the class. He was friendly and had an upbeat attitude to make me feel engaged and not bored with learning the training material.

Taking this class was such a great experience! Even though there were only two of us, the small group setting made the lessons feel personal and engaging. Our instructor made every session fun with their sense of humor and down-to-earth approach, making the material easier to understand and really enjoyable to learn. They were relatable, approachable, and lightened the class atmosphere while ensuring we walked away with fundamental knowledge and skills. The in-person experience was absolutely worth it, and I’d highly recommend this instructor to anyone looking for both learning and laughter.
Dr. Frazier was interactive and entertaining on a challenging subject. He encouraged questions, discussion, and role play to help the class address real-life situations. He used real life examples from his experiences to illustrate many of the topics and went beyond the materials when it will help address a question posed by the class.
